Dr. Dhananjay Kumar is the Founder and Director of Lokdhara Foundation and an agricultural scientist with extensive experience in agricultural biotechnology, sustainable agriculture, and rural development. His work focuses on promoting climate-resilient farming systems, farmer capacity building, and the integration of scientific research with practical agricultural solutions for small and marginal farmers.
Dr. Kumar has an academic background in agricultural sciences and has been actively involved in research, higher education, and agricultural extension activities. He has contributed to teaching and mentoring students in the field of agricultural biotechnology and has worked on research related to crop improvement, plant growth, and sustainable farming practices.
A significant highlight of his professional career is his international research experience in Sweden, where he worked as a researcher and gained exposure to advanced scientific methodologies and global research collaborations. This experience strengthened his perspective on modern agricultural research, innovation, and sustainable development approaches used internationally.
